Extra Credit Opportunities

All students may compete in the Sumdog Games (link is on this blog). Algebra students can earn 1 point extra credit for every 100 correct answers. Geometry students can earn 1 point extra credit for every 200 correct answers. This opportunity ends on March 5.

Coming up on February 21 is a Florida Mathematics League Contest for all students at JLCP. Please remember to bring a calculator on that date. Any student who scores above a 15 (out of 40 questions) will receive one extra credit point for every correct answer above 15.

Algebra test on Systems will occur on Feb. 17 (for B Day students) or Feb. 21 (for A Day students). Please be prepared.

Algebra Classes (Recycle Opportunity)

ALGEBRA Recycle Opportunity for Module E.

Any student who scored less than 80% on the test given recently can recycle this test. To be able to recycle, all work from Chapter Five must be completed, including a yellow handout on Linear Inequalites and a white handout with 20 problems (Extra Practice on Chapter Five). Assignments from Chapter Five include any work from Pages 286-309 and 318-319. Assignments are listed below this. The student must also stay after school on Tuesday, Feb. 7 to take the recycle test.

If a child makes prior arrangements, the recycle test can also be taken during the In School Soccer Game on Monday.
